WIL SABIN
Wil Sabin is an internationally renowned choreographer and creative director based in Sydney. He frequently works with Australia’s leading recording artists in creating a unique image- from creative direction, through to choreography and styling.
Wil’s work is always cutting edge, original and on an international level. Clients include Cher, Jessica Mauboy, Sneaky Sound System, Paulini, Alfie Arcuri, Nat Conway, Timmy Trumpet, Prinnie Stevens, Melissa Tkautz, Zoe Badwi, Deni Hines, Reece Mastin, Jack Vidgen and Courtney Act.
He has also worked locally with international artists: Grammy nominated artist ‘Deborah Cox’ and US Billboard #1 Artist ‘Luciana’, ‘Melody Thornton’ (Pussycat Dolls) and performed alongside 'Sir Elton John' in Hong Kong and toured extensively throughout Japan with international magician “Cyril”
Wil was a guest judge and mentor for New Zealand's Next Top Model Season 3 and also appeared on Season 3 of Asia's Next Top Model, which airs globally to 140 million viewers. As a show producer/director he has been involved in Australian Fashion Week, Australian Hair Fashion Awards, Australian Hair Expo working on major fashion shows and campaigns with some of the country's biggest supermodels, including Miranda Kerr, Elyse Taylor and Abby-Lee.
Sabin's international credits as Creative Director / Show Choreographer / Director include the MGM Grand Casino- Macau, The Venetian Casino- Macau, and 'Maxims Dolls' launching the very first casino in Singapore - Resorts World Sentosa.
In 2014 Wil choreographed and directed the Australian original stage show “Sydney After Dark” for the Planet Hollywood Casino working with SPI Entertainment in Las Vegas, USA.
Sabin launched the Andy Warhol exhibit at the NGV and is currently acting Creative director for recording Artists ‘Nat Conway’, the Winner of the Voice Australia, ‘Alfie Arcuri’ and one of Australia’s biggest powerhouse vocalists “ Paulini”.
Sabin looked after the entertainment for “March into Merivale” producing entertainment across 22 events in one month for Australia’s leading hospitality group – Merivale. And acted as artistic and creative director for the Family Entertainment program in Queensland for the the Katarzyna Group– winning the “In The Mix “ Award for Favourite club Night in Australia.
Career highlights include working as creative director for Nat Conway’s Australia day performance at the Opera House for Channel 10, heading the entertainment program for the Australian Champion Small Business awards and working as creative director for Alfie Arcuri’s top 4 release “If They Only Knew”.
A milestone in his career would be producing, directing and choreographing the Sydney Mardi Gras 40th Anniversary Parade Activation for the Goddess of pop “ Cher” which was performed live to a crowd of 500,000 and televised live on SBS Australia.
More recently he was a judge on Channel 7 hit show “All Together Now” which was nominated for a Logie Award and had featured work on Australia’s Got Talent and has been travelling across NZ/ Australia with his sold out master class series.
Wil worked on two performances for the Mardi Gras 2021 at the SCG, creating dynamic performances for Jack Vidgen presented by Koala and Connie Mitchell ( Sneaky Sound System) presented by Salesforce.
In 2021 Wil opened his own performing arts school the “Wil Sabin Dance Academy” to which he already has won several awards and had numerous international guests teach at his facility.
Wil’s work is second to none and always leaves his audiences wanting more. When a project feels challenging he uses the saying “ Where there’s a Wil there’s a way!”
